so nearly my birthday

well its nearly my birthday and not sure what type of things to ask for all i now is i would like to take up wood carving and leather carving as small hobbies.

so what would be the best types of things to ask for (only small kind of cheap things please) as i am getting a new leatherman as well so dont want to push my luck

I wood have a look at them at a hobby shop before you buy them. I have had some years ago and I binned then as they ones I got were badly made and would not hold an edge. That said I have also had some good Draper stuff as well. Just a bit hit and miss.

Tavern puzzles. The two I have seemed to be quite popular with those that had a play at the Moot. I'd go for the Conestoga or Iron Maiden to start with.
