That doesn't happen to living plasma/blood though, quite the opposite. On living blood cells hemotoxic venom actually stops blood from coagulating and causes bleeding from mucous membranes and severe internal hemorrhaging. In short it is like being slowly digested from the inside out.

And black pudding congeals when you heat it (preferably in a bain marie). Or on the skillet if you make blood pancakes

I did wonder about this. Thanks for the info
