Was bored and had a spool of paracord. Decided to see if it would be feasible to make a basket out of paracord. It turned out fairly well since I haven't done any weaving for 14 years. It's fairly small but might be useful for something. Going to work on a larger one next as they collapse down pretty well and could be used for foraging or collecting anything you might need to.

cool, I like that! - any chance of some pic's of how it is constructed?

It's about 2 hours total, including the securing of the cord ends and cutting. I don't have any pics of the construction as I wasn't sure how it was going to come out. I'm going to start work on a bigger one and I'll take pics of the steps and post them.

that is a great basket
I have tried making one out of garden twine, but got the technique all wrong and is only big enough to hold 8 Cadbury mini eggs!

I will have another go at making one... you have inspired me!

Thanks for the kind words. Tutorial is on it's way but have the mother inlaw coming into town tomorrow but I'll get it up as soon as I can.
