Evening All,

I've got this Sloyd style knife for swap it came from a local wood working shop, I believe the blade is carbon steel but can't be 100% sure. It's not had much use apart from stripping bark from a few pieces of wood before carving.

The blade looks to be slightly off centre/wonky in the handle this doesn't affect performance and most people probably wouldn't notice it I'm just being honest.

I'd consider a swap for other sharps particularly pocket /folding knives or maybe a small ish fixed blade skinner, but anything sharp considered.

I might also consider a catapult or related kit.

Having not done much bushcraft wise for a while it looks like I must have sold them some time ago huh!Just looked for them and there not where I thought they were:confused:
sorry mate:(

I've got a Wenger swiss type knife if you're interested? Forgot to have a look in the man cave, I'll try and get out later.

They're carbon blades, beech handles, and neither has been used for more than cutting an apple and sharpening a pencil :)

I'm glad the Oppies have arrived with you; if the sloyd doesn't arrive here soon I think you'll need to kick bums at the P.O. :)

Without going into greater depth, this is to say that JonE has proved himself to be a very honest man and very straight to do business with........Thank you, you're a gent :)
