we use one relatively often. You'd be amazed at the range of tasty grub that can be done. Did a lamb shoulder, cooked in cider and hay and was mind blowing. Stews, brisket, in fact any of the large, cheap cuts. A little prep and you can have meals for 2-3 days.

yup, put in a hot smoker for 30mins then cooked in red wine in the SC. comes out delicious, tender and juicy.
Thanks. I'm used to smoking them so now it makes sense.
Brisket in a slow cooker is what they are made for. " Pulled " Brisket is what pulled pork dreamed of being.
See above. I love most pulled pork or beef. Slow cookers are great for breaking them down properly.
