Sling shot advice

Does anyone have any good links or info on making sling shots? I have been inspired by another thread here and fancied having a go!

Not after anything particularly technologically advanced with lazer sights and stabilisers! Just a forked stick or the addition of some bent steel, just ideas from you guys who know really!!!

They were always great fun!

I bought what they call a blank. Just an unfinished one.
You can find a blank for the catapult here... http://www.knifebargains.co.uk/acata...__3526K__.html £12.95 Then just polish and add the handles and elastic...

If you just do a search for 'catapult blank' or 'milbro blank' something will turn up.
I think you've already seen the wooden one I gave away... Have a search for 'fish hunter catapults' too....
