Hi all, I need to get a sleeping bag.
I'm a 5ft 2 woman, currently carrying some extra weight. I'm looking for recommendations for sleeping bags that would be a comfortable fit.
I've never slept outside on my own before, and I did have a sleeping bag but it's too small. I got it from Blacks several years ago, and at the time I didn't think to check whether it fitted me.
A 3-season bag would do, and it doesn't need to be down. What I need is to get comfy with sleeping outside for the first time.
I recently tried a "Pod: The Beast" from Go Outdoors. Although it was great in terms of size (and with room to spare), sadly the zip was crap - because the zipper came off the ends the first time I tried it, and it took me a good ten minutes to sort it out and even then it got misaligned. I don't fancy needing to do that again at three in the morning and losing body heat while I'm doing it. So it got returned to the shop.
Any thoughts? Thanks muchly.
