Good on the old gal, i really really hope she recovers.

We had an episode with our dog last year it was obvious she was in a lot of discomfort and pain, and they look at you like they're trying to communicate what's wrong but us dumb bottom humans can't understand.

Fingers crossed for you.

I hope Skadi is back patrolling our fires - and keeping Decorum on his best behaviour (well we can always hope) or at least guarding his food - for many more days.

Just an update.

It's been over 48 hours since the stroke and most information say that is the main danger period.

Skadi has been alert and active today, in fact had we not seen it with our own eyes we wouldn't believe there had ever been a problem.

Amazed at her powers of recovery but very pleased too.

thats awesome news gary because likesteve said earlier in the thread i was expecting bad news and well i do hope we get quite a few more happy photos of her in the moor lands around yourn home and that her tail is wagging for a whole lot longer yet
