Hi All,
Bit of an off topic question here,
I am wondering if anyone has a simple knot solution to this common problem,

when wearing a robe you tie the cord/belt round your waist, normally this keeps coming undone . I use a simple overhand knot and then another but this will also loosen off in the end.

Has anyone get a nice simple fast knot to keep my bits under the robe and not end up being revealed to all that happen to be in front of me (like tesco this morning :( ) when the knot finally un-does?

Thanks
LP

LP,
Just tuck one of the free ends around again, half a surgeon's knot if you like to get all technical, but I think you'll find it holds.

yea so 3 times round holds a lot longer than 2 even. i bet someone comes along with a nifty solution but for now thats what i use.
couldn't get the judo knot to work because my belts not that long to go round twice.

I did try the loop one end and tie an overhand tight in the other and put that thru the loop after i adjusted it for comfort, similar to what a mate showed me for tying in bashas quickly. need one that tightens under load but also ties very quickly.

I am a twit with this sort of thing but until i get a possible solution i can't let it go, so sorry to bug you lot on here. you know when you have to know something........thats me most of the time.

thanks so far to all above :)
