Wow silk is expensive! I'd still prefer my thermals... they are cheaper and have more use even outside of camping. But it's your money and your choice.
I think I'd buy one if I was youth hosteling or travelling to warmer climes to use instead of a heavier bag. As I'm not likely to do that , I won't be getting one.
I do have a cheap tesco cotton one but it only got one night's use. I couldn't get on with it at all. I'd suggest getting a cheaper one to try out first before you shell out lots of cash. Just my pennies worth happy to be ignored on this if you feel you want one. Lots of people love their silk inners.
Just wondering if silk pyjamas/thermals would work as well and be as warm as a liner.
