Siberian blades

It's a design that seems to be seeing a bit of a revival at the moment. I hadn't seen one prior to a couple of months ago but have now seen it pop up from multiple folk and places. So much so that it has made it onto my list of styles to try one day, which I guess is what happened with the other folk. :D
 
Interesting blade. I can see that being a sod to heat treated and not warp! So am I right in thinking that the whole blade is sharpened to an edge on both sides with no secondary bevels?

I hollow the backs (flat) side of things like hook knifes and chisels to make them easier to maintain a flat during grinding and sharpening
