Showing me logged in as other people

Forum shows that I am logged out. But when I click "new posts" I´m suddenly logged in.

I have the same issue as Herman 30 but as I never log out I ignore the Welcome page and everything else works.
My screen name does not change.


So shall those of us who have the problem list what device, browser and app (If any) they are using so that we can see who is affected by what.

Occasionally shown as not logged in but I ignore that and just get on with it.

I don't know if details about how you view the site would help.

I've never had this problem and I don't know if it has anything to do with the browser I use, device I use or the fact I have a fixed IP.

Yep, like you, no problems - maybe a list of platforms, operating systems, browsers etc. would help pinpoint the issue?

So, no problems with:

PC (laptop and desktop)
Windows 11
Edge
ESET security

No visible problems using iPhone and Safari either

Showing a different screen name.

X function not working

It would appear that today I am Me again....though I opened up and saw that I was not logged in...but followed the direction to go to Home page, then back again. Otherwise everything seems normal.

I've twice looked at the forum without logging in in the past 24 hrs and seen a ghost post. The last one, just now, was on tengus thread about ends on tablet weaving. It says ignored member, I'm not ignoring anyone, so not sure why that would come up. After I've clicked on to the thread, there is no post and when I come off the thread, the ignored member has completely disappeared.
I've checked my details to be sure, nobody is being ignored by me.
Still not getting any new post notifications. Havnt for about 10 days or so now.
First reported problems in September, and now it's happening to others aswell.
Did we have an upgrade or something about that time?
What's going on?
Has the forum been quietly hacked?

Mine keeps showing me as logged in as someone else. Then says I am logged in and click here to return which does nothing. Writing this and does not say I am logged in. This is how British Blades went before disapearing for ever.

Thanks for the update woodygirl, I'm fairly sure that the two issues are unrelated, you shouldn't be signed in as someone else and we've not been able to track down the random being logged in/logged out issue, which seems to be a cache issue.

This was back in September when I first reported issues.
Definatly not a cache issue.!

Who are you? I have no ignored members . Also my page navigation arrows at the bottom of the threads are missing for going back to previous pages.

Just keeps asking me to log in, then when i click Log In, it comes up as "You are already logged in"

Phantom ignored member post now gone after attempting to sign out several times and not being able to, security error message each time. Finaly managed it, and phantom posts gone.
I'm not it savvy, but some investigations show some, tho not all these ignored member phantom posts are made at the same time as I posted, but some are on threads I haven't posted on, or just left a like. Some I havnt posted or liked at all.
It just gets weirder and weirder. I feel like Alice in a modern cyber wonderland!
