Latest project update...

Just finished work on the "WoodBee Big Grip" aka "BigBee" :p.

Blade, brass liners and "donor" walnut tissue box :)...

Parts drilled and ready to shape (liners have light filework, so had to shape them before assembly)...

Almost finished the sheath. Should look ok when it's done.

First step: Make template, transfer to leather, cut leather :)...

Second step: Cut hole and slit in back, for welt to pass through...

Third step: Make stamp/punch from old bolt, for pattern work...

Fourth step: Apply pattern to sheath, mark stitch lines...

Other steps: Mark stitch spacings, dye inside of sheath and belt loop, drill and rivet loop in place, glue welt to sides, drill stitch holes, stitch up, smooth rough edges, then dye outside of sheath (sorry, I missed a load of photos)...
