sheath made from 2 - 2,5 mm veg tan leather, waxed linnen threat no. 6, pure bees wax applied with toothbush and hairdryer

I really like the result.

Oh yeah I made two sheaths for my splitting axes (blue: Muller red: Ochsenkopf nice price vs quality stuff, the steel is good (which is not always the case with those painted axes, but the bad steel ones are often very cheap) I like the brown sheath on the right.

Yes I made the handle myself (saw, spliting iron, axe, woodcarving knife and sandpaper plus linseed oil)
The blank is a 8 inch Stromeng (I believe made by Brusletto) blank 20 euro :)
Very nice blank!!!
I bought it at knifeheaven.com (no advertisement just fact), maybe also available directly via Stromeng
