I want to put in a velcro slit in my bivvy bag to help me get in and out of the thing. (getting old :puppy_dog )
I wanted about a half - to 2/3 opening slit along the length RH side with a wide strip of velcro about an inch to 1 and a half inches preferably and of course overlapping to minimise any leaks inwards. Can anyone with sewing skills and a machine do that for me?
Of course I'll pay for the work, materials and postage back and forth. Alternatively has anyone got any ideas to acheive the same end result better than velcro?

Cheers in advance and if anyone can do this for me, please let me know your quote.

Thanks for the replies chaps.

woodsmoke I've sent you a PM

I think I'll do as you suggested Dexter and get a heavy duty zip sewn in and then velcro flap over that. WAY beyond my sewing skills though, so I'll take it with the zip and velcro to someone who knows what they're doing. I'd almost certainly make a pigs ear of it and I don't have a machine.
