Search Function

I've recently started looking for certain things in amongst the various posts using the search facility as opposed to my usual wandering through the various threads looking for something interesting. For instance, I've just tried searching for bannock (I was wondering if there were different ways of making the mix to the way I make it.

Anyway, sometimes it works just fine and other times I find I get the 'this page cannot be displayed' error and other times instead displaying a list of results I seem to get redirected to the advanced search feature.. Any ideas???????
