Thnaks for that, Red, no idea it existed (I was 9 at the time it went out) and will be watching them all. Looks like something that, with the interest in Mearsey and BG they should consider a modern remake of....

I find being selective helps......my routine is
Monday night - church
Tuesday night - rehearsals at the theatre I belong to
Wednesday night - at home, watching mainly Dave for QI, Mears etc or if there is a good documentary on the Beeb
Thursday night - Church
Friday night - rehearsals
Saturday - morning Time Team on more 4 Sat night - meditation circle
Sun at home - Antiques road show QI etc

This is always depending on work (canoeing, getting photos done for my magazine columns, out testing gear for the columns, researching walks for the mags or even releif work for Mencap) and Meets.
If I do have a night in then it is usually spent on the confuser writing articles catching up with good TV on iplayer etc or here....
Most TV is for those who like wallpaper moving (one of the guys in the Mencap house loves ALL the soaps and the "Celebrity" type progs - I realy do think that they are aimed at his peer group!)
I think that I would be quite happy without a TV - but my wife loves watching the news and weather......

I've got plenty to learn from you folks - having set my main interweb connection to the laptop in the living room - it becomes a pain when the family descend to watch their doses of garbage.
Currently working on getting the wireless connection to reach the shed - which is only a few yards from the fire-pit anyway.
