Just a quick word of thanks to Phil for organizing this one. It was a real pleasure to bump into people again. Many thanks to all that gave me advise over the weekend on kit and thanks for the great company.

Another great meet, but then every meet is, lol. Thanks to Phil for fascilitating once again. Got back to the world to find a clean pair of orange overalls, even had me manacles oiled, lol. Good food, great company. Thanks go to Andy T for that amazing Bud bottle burner and the cray brothers, awesome. I think the weather predicting jinx has been lifted????? Back to shuffling again!!

No worries Andy you did very well getting the ember considering how the cord went to the top of the spindle, next step is gather some wood for your own set, and practice some more. Theres loads of little things that can go wrong, but when they are all sorted and you've done it all yourself, there is a great sense of atchievement.

It was as I expected... damned sweet. There were enough there to supply all of us with tentpegs. Although to really add to the collection, he needs a Deval Bushy ;)
