Hi All,

Possibly looking at some pagoda type structures made from rhododendron left as logs for the uprights. anyone know how hardy the wood is when cut and left exposed to the elements? Will it rot quickly or will it last a while?

Thanks for any help! :)

Don't know how hardy it is but it seems to last a long time in nature when it dies back! (Spent to many weeks killing the stuff to be a lover of the plant). I will say that it burns tremendously as we fuelled our old kitchen range on the stuff for a while when tackling it)
Not a lot of rot seems to attack it.
