yorks
todays lockdown project was to get this finished.

Blade is about 70mm long, and about 2.5mm thick.

The handle is yew, leather spacers, and some kind of burr, that has been at the back of my garage begging to be used for about 4 years!

There are a few 'human' touches here and there for sure, but probably the nicest knife I've made yet, and the nicest finish I've had on a sheath.

Finished in clear coat epoxy then sanded back.

cheers.

I would carve with that and be proud of it. Pacific Northwest coast First Nations always have a really good straight knife,
maybe just one, to go with their adzes and crooked knives. That's for form-line carving.
Beautiful.
