Your etiquette is fine mate. You asked first, which is always good. Basically, I'd start a new thread, as you are more likely to get answers to your questions there than if the questions are hidden in someone else's thread. If you have questions for specific people, you can PM them.

But either way, feel free to ask. Lots of helpful people here.

A Silky pocket boy...Bit more money but well worth it.

All the tree surgeons use Silky saws.

Had 2 of them the first just sucked then second broke, my laplander has endured 1000 time what the have.

Walshy why not get a 21 inch bucksaw blade and just carve the frame when you get your knife? you'll get one heck of a saw for less than a good folding sas.
