Rant Warning:-Hermes delivery

i bought some stuff on amazon
tracking details said ready for delivery in town next to me at 08;43 this morning
apparently it was attempted to be delivered at 10:23:43 this morning, the delivery driver knocked on my door then attempted to leave parcel with people 2 numbers up from us when no one answered our door, they refused and told driver we were all out. the driver then left a note saying we attempted to deliver your parcel but no one was in
thats the tale i got from amazon help desk.
picking faults in this
1 lisa was home awake and sat in the lounge at this time the lounge has the front door connecting into it. no one knocked
2 i could not pick out the neighbours two doors up from us in a line up if my life depended on it, thus i believe they could not identify me either
3 no note was posted through my door saying they attempted delivery but no answer at house.
end result now have to wait until tuesday as it is easter weekend, not a massive problem but as i have been bombarding lisa with texts while at work all flaming morning i am a little irked.

once i have sorted jake out and lisa has returned from the shops i am half tempted to nip up the road and ask if the neighbours have had a driver attempt to leave a parcel with them. i don't mind them refusing to take it per se but as the driver hasn't knocked or left a delivery note i wonder if they even bothered to ask up the road or just a good excuse.

Do it chap, see if you can get a statement of it from them too, then put all this down in a email to the Amazon unhelp desk and demand a resolution letter, arses,

my dogs bark when people knock on the door to next door, hardly likely not to have barked when the delivery driver knocked on the door
jake will wake up if i pass wind too loudly (honest!) so again a knock on the door is hardly going to go unnoticed

Sounds familiar, I've have nothing but trouble from Hermes since it all began for me back in July 2011, I get a lot of cold callers to my door where I live in Hemel Hempstead and on this day in particular it was no different and sometimes it can get a little bit annoying so when a knock came the door I opened and said

"Can you stop knocking" to which I got the reply
"So you won't want these then" and standing there holding a parcel was the Hermes courier.
Immediately I apologized but I could see by the look in her face that very day that she was going to make something of it.

Since last July I have had to have items from my catalogue delivered to my Parents or Son all live quite far away so it's all a hassle to get them and then my paid for items I have to ring up the companys I got them from to arrange another delivery

I am sick of seeing this

When you know you have been in all day, today even Evans said she wasn't acting very professional and she tells the company that it's a personal disbute, what disbute? if I saw her again I wouldn't even recognize her, I tried opening up a page on facebook but was bullied off by other Hermes delivery drivers who view themselves as the best in the world and they were rather insulting to say the least.
