That is lovely mate. Very well done.

How are you finding the Steele tongs? I nearly bought myself a pair a while back but ended up not bothering.

Hi! I am new at BushcraftUK and hobby knife maker. i have forged some blades, but are mainly buying from my blades from Swedish Black Smiths. Found your Forum and must say that I really like both the shape and the pattern. Great looking blade!

Aye I've spoken to Alec in the past about them, I was about to order a pair when a couple of unexpected bills came up so I had to shelve the idea for a while. I ended up making a set of my own in a similar style. Just wondered how you got on with them really. - What is the overall length?

The Hofi hammer was a very lucky eBay find. They go for over £90 when new but I put a bid in on that one, not expecting to win it but got it for £56. :)

It has fast become my favourite hammer, the balance is excellent and the weight is just right for me. I'm not sure if it's 2.5 or 3lbs but it moves metal very well. The pein is great for drawing out. - If you can afford it you should seriously think about getting one.

Thanks, I don't often make tongs as I find it quite difficult tbh, though I enjoyed making these.
