Hello everyone,

I've just returned from a charity motorbike expedition with John Dixon of this parish.

John very generously auctioned one of his bushcraft courses and I was one of the winning bidders. He told me about this site and I promised not to spend too long here before doing my course!

I am a complete novice when it comes to bushcraft but John has already sparked a real excitement and a genuine desire for me to find out more about it.

I can see from my quick skim of the forums that this site is a seemingly endless source of knowledge and more importantly there seems to be a great enthusiasm to share and learn.

Well, I'd best keep my promise and log off until March
