It's not just words though; it's the 'handler's' attitude, behaviour, praise, etc., that helps train the dog to good habits.
Mess that up and it confuses / annoys the dog enough that it will ignore the falsely given command.
Guide dogs are selectively bred ....they aim for temperament and trainability and a kind of cleverness too
