same hereI hate that the skills that I grew up with, that were once so commonplace, and were an expected part of everyone's knowledge, are so commercialised that at times we need insurance, and public liability cover, to even discuss them with others. That we live in such a litigateous, blame society that we have to constantly add caveats to our talks.
all natural skills that should be taught free have been stripped away by those who love to control others
some areas of the world they still hold their valued traditions for passing on freely and no-one have taken them away
so how have we had our stripped
well schools do not teach the life skills we really need [stuff algebra or vectors and-such]
we are taught to sit down shut up and do as we are told to do and not what we should be doing
you cannot teach your eight [8] year old how to make a stake for pitching a tent without some leg-is-lat-ion and safety-sally regime for using a knife where a child is concerned
this [PC] nonsense have to be put a lid on it and the flame turned down for it to simmer as it has gotten well out of hand
From the fruit of their lips people are filled with good things,
and the work of their hands brings them reward.
One person gives freely, yet gains even more;
another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty.
