Poncho Liner does not an underquilt make?

I'm looking to butcher together some sort of underquilt, and i'm on a reasonably short timescale as i'd like to get the hammock out on the 11th Feb. In time I plan to build something, but for now I need a simple hack.I was going to get a poncho liner for the PLUQ, but wanted to check if UK issue poncho liners were alright, or indeed the ones available on ebay. All the PLUQ's I have seen are US Poncho Liner based, and i'm not sure if the UK versions are as easily modified.

Sunny Wales!
Is it a double lined hammock...?

Lining the inside, such as putting your jacket, a cut down foam mat or a folded over blanket will help hugely. You could then use the poncho as a vapor barrier...

Yeah, it's a DD Frontline.I've got that side covered, if I so wished, but was hoping to give the Poncho Liner UQ a go as it would cost me all of £25.Just not sure If i'll get all the attachments and ability to run cord through the edges in the same way as the US ones.

I've an issue sleeping bag that I was considering modifying...But I think "work" will want it back in one piece at some point :p
