used mine for the first time at the weekend - had real trouble lighting with a firesteel and getting it in the thing - couldn't light it with everything inside. in the end i used a firelighter match and it worked fine - boiled my smallest billy full of water (about 1 1/2 pints) in about 8 minutes - would have been faster if i had remembered to put more wood in!
