Playing with my forge

I decided its been to long since Ive had a play so fired up the forge and made a few blades

my nephew wanted to know what I was cooking so I told him blades

Here's what I made of my afternoon all made out of coils springs

Great stuff Russ, looks like my back yard too All the better for using the springs, Ive about four thicknesses to choose from so have to plan the width /thickness of the blade before so I know ive enough material.
What fuel you using , Charcoal? Ive found a bit of coke, but it takes some serious forcing with air to get it hot enough for forging. Thinking of going back to local hardwood charcoal.
