I decided its been to long since Ive had a play so fired up the forge and made a few blades :)

i like the look of the second blade,....you got a nice curved drop on that!,...

Great stuff Russ, looks like my back yard too :) All the better for using the springs, Ive about four thicknesses to choose from so have to plan the width /thickness of the blade before so I know ive enough material.
What fuel you using , Charcoal? Ive found a bit of coke, but it takes some serious forcing with air to get it hot enough for forging. Thinking of going back to local hardwood charcoal.
