With 2025 coming into full swing, it's time to start figuring out what the plan is for the coming year.

This end, we may soon be able to add around half an acre(ish) to our current property. I'd like to use the land to add some sort of meat production to our set-up. That will take some planning and plenty of hard graft to get the land in order. I'll also be looking to build a workshop as soon as possible, so plenty to keep busy with.

What projects have you got lined up for the coming year? Anything we might find interesting?

Nothing specifically new but ongoing projects...

Build workshop, this required planning which I obtained last year.
Cut and stack about 20 cube of firewood down from the storms.
Add a few more crops to the veg garden.
Get back on top of the squirrels on both my woodlands.
Use the 303 more (not related to the squirrels).

Current booked plans, more may be added: complete the coppicing and thinning for this season, Frome market, Hay festival, 4 weeks UK coastal trek (probably penultimate session), Knepp, Goodwood, 12 days staying in a croft on the Ardnamurchan, organising and delivering our bi-annual Habitats Symposium ...

Interspersed with woodland camps, more of Offa's Dyke, canoe trips, days out in the Westfield and, hopefully, more time on the Bonny.

2025 feels over all ready! :)

Really hope that goes well; certainly doesn't sound fun though :(
Hopefully i will have both hips done at the same time, then both knees done at the same time later in the year, figure the recovery pain can't be any worse than what im currently dealing with and at least it will decrease whereas at the moment, well it smarts a bit.
