nice work yet again. BTW, how does your handstitching get that nice staggered appearance? Mine always lies straight even though I'm pretty sure my saddle-stitch technique is right.

You have to use a diamond cross section awl to make those slanted stitch hole and stitch in such a way that the thread lies from edge of one slot to the edge of the next.
