I just had to tell you guys, I'm still stoked and I photographed Colin on Friday just gone...

I had an amazing opportunity to photograph the great man, Colin Dexter, I decided to pull out all of the stops on this one and I'm glad to say it went perfectly. Colin is a natural in front of the camera and is so photogenic...

As ever... More photographs on the blog Specifically this post.

Thank you for looking :D

Yeah I used to take photos of elderly people in the dark but the care home I worked at found out and I had to leave:( They kept all of the photos I took so I cant show you any of mine - but the look on their faces when I used to wake them up dressed in my Grim Reaper costume was priceless!

I met Colin at a charity dinner at our village hall, he is a great after dinner speaker too. Lovely man.

wow thats stunning! You are so lucky, I wish I had your job!

Thanks hun, my job seems glamorous but believe me it isn't. That photograph took ages to set up. The lighting was tricky as we were on a unlit college stage with thick light eating black curtains so I had to bring lights.

He is great, and very lovely after the talk he gave both me and my colleague a great big hug and a kiss :)
