Oh, and if you’re wondering how I know that was a Rattlesnake track, I watched it being made by this Timber Rattler.

Wonderful photos! Living in Europe and being in a British forum I almost always expect to see species I know, but this is rarely the case with American photographs. Thanks for sharing!

Love the shots mate, those are really spectacular! Your kit looks amazing too! Is that a Maxp. Sitka you have there?

I see lots of cool photos over on the ESEE forum, and it always makes me want to take a trip over to the USA!

Thanks for all the kind words guys, I'm really glad you enjoyed the post.

Thank you, glad you enjoyed them. Yes, it's a sitka, and I love the pack very much for my needs.

Thanks for the fantastic photos. I have a question and an observation.
How are you finding the HEST Folder?
Good idea with the dogtag in the knife sheath - I'm in the Forces so wear dogtags when on operations. You have inspired me to get a set engraved with civvy info such as name, emergency contact number, blood group etc.

I have carried and used the H/F daily for about three months now and absolutely love it.

Actually that is not a dog tag, it is a plastic signal mirror.
