Phonecall from Microsoft?? Dodgy??

SWMBO got the same call yesterday from a guy who could barely speak English...after spending a couple of minutes telling him what a crap scammer he was.....he hung up!

no need for the *** mate, I'm not worrying, as I said, I'm happy my pc is clean. I was mainly posting this in case it helped others avoid the scam.

*** was meant as support and to put your mind at rest, not calling you a knob head or anything for posting a question.

I always offer to send them a cheque first and say how happy i am they called,,, then ask for an address to send it too. I its close enough i would offer to bring it down in person.......
