This is the last of the PSK blade's that i made a while ago. It sat in a box for a good few months unloved and dirty. Now look at it, A true Cinderella story

3mm O1 convexed blade, hand finished to 1200 handled with brass tube and home made denim mycarta super smoothed to 2400.

This is going to be my keeper now :)

The notch is called a choil & is there to seperat the cutting edge from the ricasso to allow a fully sharpend edge all the way along the blade. some times the choil is a larger and used as an area where the handle and blade meet which positions/guards the index finger while gripping the opened knife like on the UKPK.

Beautiful knife! Can you tell me how you get your makers mark on the blade? Is it etched, cut in with a rotary tool or punched in? I like the "B", clean and distinctive. Good taste! Thanks!
