Papuan Arrows and Headdress pic heavy again!

unfortunately, their arrows are very very very long, about three foot, very different to ours so i had to cut the heads off to bring them home and ditch the shaft... better to bring something than nothing i guess.....

the bamboo head is for killing pigs as it needed to be long and strong.

the spiky one is used for killing possums and was designed so that they couldnt knock it out, hence the barbs.

the headdress is made of jungle fowl feathers so far as i am aware, it is a very simple one to be honest, standard design.

i have never even considered it. never had the need to really.... i dont think they would be fake.... just reused...

its def integral because like the Axe there is a piece of wood inserted between the binding and the head to hold it tight.
