Afternoon
I'm on a mailing list for communicating science so I was pleasantly surprised to see
this crop up on it - "saw this and thought of you" really
Anyway she's wanting advice on 'training the trainers' I think and I bet some people
here have a bit of experience of the stuff mentioned. She's happy for me to be making
her email and address public.
If anyone has any suggestions or feedback, please get in touch with her directly:
mailto:ritarod@PORTUGALMAIL.COM - she's from Portugal...
I've already told her about the Experimental Archaeology mailing list:

Dear all,
I am trying to set up a communication training to explainers working on an
experimental archaeological workshop on Paleolithic techniques, such as:
hunting, fire production, glue production, clothes made of leather clothes, use
of fireplaces, heating liquids, etc.
This group of future explainers doesnt have previous experience in teaching or
similar communication practice, but they know deeply the history concepts.
This could be a good opportunity to use some communication and learning
approaches used mainly in science centers to other kind of museums.
Does anyone have similar workshops?
What kind of training do you provide your facilitators?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
