As a field archer, I often spend a lot of time looking for arrows (probably says something about my skill level). Throughout the seasons, the colour I’ve found that stands out the most when rooting through the forest floor for arrows is pink - so all my arrows now carry a pink cock feather.
Having said that, none of my outdoors gear is high vis and nor will it ever be. I believe that forging strong habits and good admin are the key here. I’ve never lost or misplaced anything simply because I work obsessively on the principle that if I’m not using something it gets stowed in its place. Things left loafing always disappear.
