Hi guys, i was just wondering what the general thought on the Web-tex machete is. i know that webtex isnt always thought of as a reliable good quality brand, and to be honest, i am a huge fan of scandinavian blades, however, before i buy an 80euro leuku, id like to get a practical idea of how id use a similar blade with a cheap decent machete, and i stumbled upon the webtex one. what y'all think about it?
cheers

In the woods if possible.
As an alternative consider something from Tramontina. I use a couple of them, and considering the price they're great.

There's a 12" one in the range but Heinnie doesn't seem to do it. They can probably get it to order.

People modify them, so you could have a go and you haven't lost much if it isn't a success.

I haven't found a British supplier yet, but I guess you're looking at mail order if you're in Malta so that might not matter to you. :)
