30 years of use and UV take their toll on a tent.
I was recently asked to rebuild the flysheet of a friend's Ultimate Hobo

After a lot of measuring, pondering, head-scratching, trial runs and finally, sewing, this is the result ...

Just how hard was that to remanufacture Ian?
Could you do the same with this?

Polycotton (with a sewn in rubber groundsheet like vango F10).

The Hobo fly rebuild required a bit of thought as it had a few unusual features.I was able to get a good pattern off the original and found a small paper model to be useful. I also 'tried out' the more awkward bits. I had 3 or 4 goes at doing the apex arrangement in cheap fabric before I was happy that it would work for real. It would have been a lot of cloth to waste.
On the face of it, your Baker tent looks as though it would be rather more straightforward to rebuild.
