Old canvas ridge/bell tents

My other half and I have just joined the French Resistance, or to be more precise the French Resistance group of the WW2 Living History Association. I'm on the lookout for either a military tent (British/French/German) of the period or a civilian tent (probably a bell tent).

New canvas tents are beyond our current budget as are the larger military tents that I've found. And we may possibly have to save our pennies even for a used tent but I wondered if anyone knew of any good sources/places to look as my frantic googling has returned few results.

No details of the Resistance up there yet. I think my other half and I may have doubled the membership when we signed up at the weekend.

the canvas tent shop had some bell tents with minor faults (these were just stitching faults, nothing bad just wonky stitiching ) i bought some and there fine and they were selling them off at £150 ea heres the link

I saw those. Do they come with groundsheets do you know?

no,they dont, but you can get yourself a ground sheet or buy one from them. i got some seperate for when it wet or just use a half sheet when its dry and use a camp bed, to keep of the ground
