Off Spend Thanksgiving In A Cabin

Pretty much as the title says, I'm going out of state tomorrow. We'll be spending the next few days in a cabin at a Mississippi State Park and will return Saturday evening.

I've already baked the sweet potato pies (gluten free for my daughter, Nikole, of course) and Barbara's making the green bean casserole (also gluten free) The cornbread dressing is assembled and will be cooked on site. The menu will also include mashed potatoes and a pecan pie (that last pie will NOT be GF however) A bottle of rum and a couple of bottles of local wine are on the packing list as well (I suspect Barbara has some eggnog planned to have with the rum )

And of course there'll be a turkey!

Well we're safely back. Had a great time despite a bit of trouble at the start, will do a full trip report when the pix are ready.
