So yes yes, I'm new here. I'm not new to camping and hiking however, so I'd like to say that I know a decent amount about the great outdoors, but then we all learn something new every day and that is why I am here.

Like you I'm not new! Been at it since birth (my folks didn't believe in molly coddling!) But like you still learning everyday, and these pedantic, picky, analy retentive folks are the chaps to teach us all something new. And I love them for it. Never met a conglomeration of wonderful weirdo's (self included) like there are here. Enjoy and learn and appreciate. It's what I do every day (despite the rules against English there).
