My bro is in the MOB so i have ..... "purchased though proper chanels of course " Gortex bivy bag, bergen with inner gortex bag plus 3 external, various water prooof smaller bags, tarp, waterproofs, assorted rat packs, cotton combat trousers all of which is first class equipment.
Fair enough some may be a little heavier than more expensive shiney gear i see kicking about. But i prefer the green look as opposed to the timmy mallet look lol no offence intended

You wouldn't catch me wearing anything that looked military.

I especially avoid military looking knives. I would hate to be stopped by the police and have to explain my "Rambo" knife and "SAS" kit.

Although I avoid and generally dislike military kit, I'm still a nutter.

For the autumn bushcraft fashions I will be looking mainly at the catwalks of Paris and Milan.

It shouldnt matter what you wear, wear what YOU want and wear what YOU feel comfortable in, I have some olive green stuff and some dpm, where else can you get a set of gore tex waterproofs from, top and btm for under £50. just spend more time getting out there and less time worrying what folk may think,

Well said! Even more important to wear somthing, I can't imagine naked bushcrafting, open fires, carving, sleeping on a browse bed... as for the flys..
