I have been rather busy this year with many different things, but I still find the time to put together some natural fibres and make cordage. 100ft of elm rope ........ only 70ft left to do

Wow thats really impressive. Very neat. My efforts look like scruffy dreadlocks most of the time.

I don't think I've ever seen an elm tree. That's amazing looking rope, what process do you use to make it?

I've been wearing a thin piece of nettle cordage around my wrist for a couple of weeks now. I'm astonished it hasn't broken as I haven't been deliberately looking after it (it was a piece I made myself, about 99 feet shorter than yours!)

Think my nettle bracelet is on the way out now, looking decidedly tatty today! Was this Wych elm or a different kind? Any links to a tutorial?
