Head south west Scotland. Most Scots can't understand them when talking full speed! Record at 120fps and play back at 30fps and you might catch something.:)

Very cleanly done and not overly detailed. Well finished.

MikeeMiracle: You need some soft wood (Lime, maybe a conifer) and a carving-sharp knife.
Fresh green wood is much easier to carve than dry, seasoned wood.
Total included bevel angle no more than 15 degrees.
Do some carving, make some chips and shavings. That's the way to learn which questions to ask.

Wonderful little carving!
Lime ( or Linden) is a wonderful wood to carve. Used by European wood carvers since antiquity. Many church statues and ornaments are carved Linden.

Yew is far more beautiful though.
