Nice info RAPPLEBY ;)

It reminds me of a great idea started in USA which actually promotes the mapping of 'free fruit' sites in local areas. They now actively plant fruit trees in public spaces ;) The site is here:

Here is a good example of one such map posted to help people find these fruit trees in parks etc;

The Botanical garden in Victoria Park, Bath is a great place for 'free fruit'. Right now from memory you may just catch the Mulberries ;)

There is a real opportunity for 'Urban Bushcraft' :)
