Norse Knotwork & Runic Belt

I don't make belts often, this is only the fourth I have made. But I must say it was fun! A member here wanted a long belt to go over his clothing. He asked for some knotwork and his childrens names in runes. This is what I made.

4mm veg tan all hand cut, edges, burnished, carved, dyed, and saddle-stitched with waxed linen thread. And a solid brass buckle.

And last week I also knocked up this little neck pouch for a crook knife in return for some excellent hand drawn designs to use for my leatherwork
