saw this while moochin around on pInterest.
i fancy making one as much to test the theory.
The question i have is....
how does it not cut the sides?there's no welt to protect the stitchin obviously as there isnt a welt so hows it work?

It's surprisingly effective. Try it with a bit of cardboard (cereal box works fine) and tweak that until the template works for you.

It works by not fitting snuggly anywhere but around the handle.
