i live in thurnscoe south yorkshire but am moving up to scotland with family in a few months to a small holding that were getting i carnt wait

anyway my names paul i have 4 children all boys ( very handy for shelter building and food collecting )

Sounds like you would be an ideal candidate for starting a blog on your experiences as you go along. There are quite a few forum members in Scotland who might be able to help assist with all sorts of jobs/issues.

A cracking bit of the country - just a drive up the old military road from me - some glorious scenery as well.

Both Ballater and Braemar are lovely - I suppose you have already visited and hopefully would have attended the glorious institution that is the "Hungry Highlander" greasy spoon? A real must for chips'n'cheese when you soaking and cold.
